Training 01:
Counselling and Psychometric Sessions at Dhoraji

On 24 July 2021, we conducted free counselling and psychometric sessions to help individuals understand and develop their behavioural attitudes. During these sessions, we counselled a total of 150 students, discussing their problems and guiding them on how to find solutions based on their current situations. To promote a healthy India, psychometric assessments are crucial. In this program, we provided students with their results and highlighted areas for improvement. We recognise that stress is a significant issue for many individuals. The outcome of this activity was very positive. Students began discussing their concerns more openly, and through healthy discussions, they were able to find effective solutions to their problems.

Training 02:
Practical Approaches to Societal Development at Manavadar

At Gyan Education and Charitable Trust, we focus on practical approaches to societal development. One of our unique activities was conducted on 12 January 2022 at a college in Manavadar, a village in Junagadh district. We emphasize activity-based learning for developing a healthy life. While theory is essential, we use the concept of Edutainment—combining education and entertainment—to ensure better understanding. In this event, we aimed to explain the crucial concept of communication, highlighting the difference between communication and miscommunication. Understanding this distinction is vital for effective communication in all aspects of life.

We trained the students to perform with freedom of thought, encouraging them to present their decisions within a limited timeframe. This process helped them understand problems better and improved their decision-making skills, aiding them in handling adverse situations in life. The outcome of this program was clear: students learned to understand problems contextually, behave appropriately, and, most importantly, make and commit to effective decisions.

Fluency for the Future: English Language Proficiency Program at Jetpur

In the 21st century, it’s crucial to focus on a second or business language. We conducted a free, month-long training program at Jetpur from 1 to 30 April 2024, emphasizing language skills. The students from Saurashtra particularly focused on improving their English. Our trust aims to equip youth with all essential life skills, and language proficiency is a key component. Through this program, we created an immersive English-speaking environment to help students become proficient in the language. The outcome of this activity was very positive. The students gained confidence and became more willing to embrace English as another language. Initially, we had to work hard to help them accept and adapt to using English, but their progress has been encouraging.
